Dr. Karanjit Randhawa

VETERINARIAN, D.V.M.

While growing up, Dr. K was fascinated by all things involving science. He knew early on that he wanted a career in the medical field. His encounters with rescue animals in need of care led him onto the path of veterinary medicine. Dr. K grew up in Los Angeles, California and began his undergrad at UCLA before moving to the Fraser Valley in 2014. He completed his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from UFV before pursuing veterinary medicine. He has a keen interest in surgery and physiotherapy. Dr. K is committed to a stress-free approach to veterinary medicine which helps alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in his patients when receiving medical attention. Dr. K is the proud dad of 2 rescue pups named Hazel and Sophie. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, watching web series and spending time with his family.

Dr. Supreet Mann

VETERINARIAN, D.V.M.

Dr. Mann grew up right here in Chilliwack and knew early on that she wanted a career that gave her the opportunity to care for animals while also being able to give back to her community. She was familiarized with the veterinary field from a young age, often accompanying her dad, who is also a veterinarian, to work. As she grew up, she started working as a veterinary assistant, learning her way up to a veterinary technician role and eventually being accepted into veterinary school to earn her doctorate in veterinary medicine. Dr. Mann's passion lies in surgery, non-profit/shelter medicine, and internal medicine. She starts her day with surgeries in the morning, followed by medicine and critical care cases in the afternoon. When Dr. Mann is not at work, she loves spending time at home with her pups, cooking up new recipes, and watching TV.

LEAD VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Growing up, I always had the biggest soft spot for animals. I was always that kid who brought home injured or stray animals to make sure they got the care they needed. I knew early on that I needed to be in a career that contributes to the well-being of animals. I started my career at Vedder Mountain Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary assistant. I feel privileged to be a part of such a skilled and motivated team that improves the lives of animals every day. My journey at Vedder Mountain has inspired to pursue further education in this profession and I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor’s of Veterinary Technology Degree Program at Penn Foster College while receiving excellent mentorship at work. I look forward to supporting my team in their growth and goals in providing excellent care to our patients.

Amber

REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNOLOGIST

I started in the veterinary field back in 2018 as a veterinary assistant. My passion for caring for animals lead me to pursue further education at Douglas College in the Veterinary Technologist Program. During this program, I had the opportunity to do an Externship at the Vancouver Aquarium, which was a truly enriching experience! I also had the opportunity to work in a large animal practice but ultimately I am excited to be back to working with small animals where it all began.

I am excited to be at Vedder Mountain where I can grow as an RVT, utilizing my skills to help and care for every animal that comes in!

Geona

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

I am a passionate animal lover with a big heart for pets and I developed a deep connection with animals from a young age. My journey as a pet owner began at the age of 6. I currently care for 11 rescue dogs. My love for animals reflects my compassionate nature, and I strongly believe in the importance of kindness and responsibility towards pets. My love for animals lead me to pursue an education in veterinary medicine and I graduated as a veterinarian from Tarlac Agricultural University in the Philippines. Currently, I am in the process of completing the requirements to become licensed as a veterinarian in British Columbia, while concurrently working at Vedder Mountain Veterinary Clinic as a technician. This role has been truly fulfilling for me as I have the opportunity to work with an excellent team and provide high quality care to our patients.

Tyrone

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

I was born in a small town and grew up around many different kinds of animals and people, and I always had a good relationship with both. When I got older, I wanted to pursue learning about the health and well-being of animals and creating strong relationships with their owners and people who care for them. I have several years of experience with animals. It is my goal to ensure that the owners of the animals we take in knowing exactly what is going on and have the confidence to trust us with their animals, and more importantly, their family.

Jessie

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

I spent most of my childhood playing outside with my German shepherds and any sort of animals in my backyard. I would try to make little homes out of sticks and leaves for the animals that I found. With animal husbandry being a passion of mine, I grew up knowing that I wanted to work with animals, and more specifically, taking care of them. After finishing my Bachelors of Science degree at UBC Okanagan, I came back home to Chilliwack and found the wonderful team at Vedder Mountain Veterinary Clinic. My goal at Vedder Mountain is to provide comfort and sincere veterinary care for the animals in our community.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Pets are humanizing, constantly reminding us that we must be gentle with life, to care for those who cannot speak for themselves, and help better understand ourselves and each other. My journey here at Vedder Mountain Vet Clinic started as a client myself, and my beloved blue heeler, Major, as a patient. The patience, kindness, and understanding we received by the doctors and staff here truly inspired to further my interest in this field of work. Fast forward to working as an employee here today, I can now proudly say that I am a part of a team and community who care for other’s pets like our own. I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me!

Julie

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

I am originally a Registered Nurse by profession and while my career has been truly rewarding, I knew that I always wanted to care for animals in some way. With roots in health care, my lifelong love for animals brought me back to school where I pursued a degree in animal biology. I feel honored to have found a place where I can apply my unique background to help both people and animals. Nurturing this noble bond between animals and their humans makes me feel right at home here at Vedder Mountain Veterinary Clinic. When I’m not working, I love to cook, read, and visit trails with my dog Murphy.

Jacquie

CLIENT CARE REPRESENTATIVE

Hello, my name is Jacquie, and I’ll be one of the first people to welcome you to Vedder Mountain Veterinary Clinic! Since stepping into the veterinary world in 2007, I’ve never looked back — being able to support animals and their families each day is truly rewarding. Some of my favourite moments are seeing pets thrive thanks to the care we provide. I especially love watching young pets grow and learn, and seeing senior pets enjoy their golden years in comfort. I have a special connection with cats and have occasionally been referred to as a “cat whisperer”. My husband and I cater to one very special and high-maintenance cat named Joanie (Joan Rivers), and are looking forward to adopting a rescue dog in the future. Outside of work, I enjoy creating art, playing video games, and learning about animals, places and cultures. I also love being out in nature, swimming, and hunting for cool rocks! Whatever brings you through our doors, I’ll be here to welcome you with compassion and support.
