Dr. Ramneet Kaur

Growing up, Dr. Kaur remembers having a strong interest and passion for animals. Dr. Kaur feels very blessed to have been given the opportunity to pursue and achieve her dreams in treating and caring for animals. Although Dr. Kaur also enjoys large animal medicine, she especially loves her job as a small-animal veterinarian. She moved to Chilliwack in 2019 and loves the tight-knit, small community. Dr. Kaur strives to provide trusted care and be the family doctor for the pets in her community. She is committed to a stress-free approach to veterinary medicine which helps alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in her patients when receiving medical attention.

It was always a dream of mine to work with animals. In 2016 I made the career change I’ve always wanted, and have been working along side Dr. Ross since. I love animals of all kinds, and have fours cats of my own; Olive, Charlie, Poe and Ink. I enjoy spending my free time with friends, and in the outdoors hiking, camping or lake side.

I recently graduated from UFV with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. I have gained so many valuable experiences over the last 4 years working at Vedder Mountain Veterinary Clinic. It has always been a dream of mine to obtain a career in the veterinary field as I have a strong passion for animal welfare. My love for animals is evident through my own large family which currently includes two cats, a dog, fish, and a ball python. In my spare time my husband and I enjoy doing all different types of outdoor sports with our friends such as hiking, camping, 4x4ing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding.

I was born and raised in the Phillipines,  I completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2002 from the University of the Phillipines. I have worked as an Animal Health Technologist after moving to Canada in 2009.  I really love playing tennis. I also enjoy cooking and baking.  I also love watching movies with my husband, Tonton, and my sons, Ram and Ansgar.

Daymon Jassal

For as long as I can remember, working with animals has always been something I’ve been passionate towards. I am currently studying at UFV doing my prerequisites for veterinary school. At present, I am the parent of two very sweet lovebirds, Mango & Rio! Outside of my school and work life I enjoy activities such as reading, cooking, traveling, and various physical activities such as hiking and skiing.

Emily Maksim

From a young age, I have loved being around animals and caring for them. I have always aspired to become a veterinarian myself one day, so I jumped at the opportunity to work at Vedder Mountain Veterinary Clinic. I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Biology from UFV and I am applying to veterinary school. I also have extensive volunteer experience at a local animal shelter. In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading, and horseback riding. I currently have one cat, Charlie, but plan to add more animals to my life after I finish veterinary school.

Tyrone Unruh

I was born in a small town and grew up around many different kinds of animals and people, and I always had a good relationship with both. When I got older, I wanted to pursue learning about the health and well-being of animals, and creating strong relationships with their owners and people who care for them. I have several years of years of experience with animals. It is my goal to ensure that the owners of the animals we take in know exactly what is going on and have the confidence to trust us with their animals, and more importantly, their family.
